Dating to the Cretaceous, this rare Pterosaur tooth is from the Tegana Formation, Kem Kem, Morocco, N. Africa.

Possibly from the pterosaur Scirocopteryx moroccoensis.

Measuring an astonishing 2 1/2" (6.3cm) along the dorsal curve, this is an exceptionally large, rare tooth indeed.

Considering most Pterosaur teeth are in the range 3/4" to 1 1/4" (2cm to 3cm) this is quite probably the largest we'll ever have to offer.

Without doubt it is the largest such tooth currently available for sale anywhere worldwide.

Despite the fragility of Pterosaur teeth and incredibly considering its size, this specimen has survived intact and is in original condition with no restoration whatsoever.

Crucially, the tip with enamel is intact.
