Keichousaurus fossils

Middle Triassic age, Guanling Formation, Xingyi, Guizhou, China.

The matrix is a compacted mix of fine volcanic ash, silt and is intersected by natural calcite mineral formations.

Fossil skeleton (excluding skull & end of tail) has minimal restoration.

Colour variation amongst the bones are the result of fossilization & an artefact of preparation.

Matrix has one repair - white lines are natural calcite mineral veining - the matrix has been tested  & proves genuine.
